Privacy notice
Updated 18 October 2026
This notice covers southcoasthouseprices.co.uk.
Who runs this site
South Coast House Prices is run by George, an individual, who is the data controller for this site. Email: [email protected]
What is collected
Analytics (PostHog). When you read a page, PostHog records which pages you view, what you click, the page or site that sent you here, your approximate location (country and city, worked out from your IP address), your IP address itself (stored with each event, which lets us leave our own visits out of the numbers), your device and browser type, and how fast the page loaded. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device for analytics. There are no accounts or forms, and visits are not recorded.
Hosting and security (Cloudflare). Cloudflare delivers the site and blocks attacks. To do that it processes your IP address and basic request details.
Nothing here is used to identify you personally, build an advertising profile, or sell data. The site carries no advertising.
Why, and on what basis
To learn which pages are useful and keep the site running and safe. The legal basis is legitimate interests under the UK GDPR. You can object at any time, and you can switch analytics off yourself below.
Who processes it, and where
- PostHog, Inc. (analytics), processed in the United States.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and security), processed on its global network.
Both act on this site's behalf under data processing agreements that include safeguards for transfers outside the UK.
How long it's kept
PostHog keeps analytics events for one year; Cloudflare keeps request logs for its own limited periods. To have data about you removed sooner, email [email protected].
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or move it. Email [email protected] and you'll get an answer within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Turn analytics off
This saves a small "no analytics" setting in your browser so the choice sticks. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Changes
Any change to this notice will be posted here with a new date.
