About and contact
Updated 18 October 2026
South Coast House Prices answers the questions people ask before they buy or sell on the south coast: what homes actually sell for, whether prices are rising or falling, how much of a place sits in a flood zone, and what is being built. Each town and village has its own page, written in plain English and updated monthly.
Where the numbers come from
Only official open data: HM Land Registry sale records, the UK House Price Index, Environment Agency flood maps, the government's deprivation index and council planning documents. Nothing is taken from property portal listings. The sources page explains every figure.
Who runs it
The site is run independently by George. It is not an estate agent, takes no fees from agents or developers, carries no advertising, and is not connected to any property portal.
Corrections
If a figure looks wrong, email [email protected] with the page and what you think is wrong. It will be checked against the source and corrected, with the page's update date changed.
